Laura was born in American Samoa. Both her mother Adeline Pritchard Jones and her grandmother Mary Jewett Pritchard are renowned Siapo Artists. Laura grew up around Siapo and learned the craft at a very young age. Laura continues to create Siapo in the tradition handed down to her by her mother and grandmother.
